This building facility is used primarily by professional swimmers and sportsmen for it contains the only 50 meters long swimming pool with a tribune in Brno. The project also deals with restoration of a 16 meters long training pool in the existing building, creation of inner and outer aquapark areas and adding exercise and dance halls as an extension to the existing fitness center. Another goal of this project was to make the pedestrian access to the area more pleasant which is achieved by creating an underground parking space in the area of the existing building’s frontal space and also by designing a footpath leading from the remote side of the excessively frequented Sportovní street. The primary aim of the project is an operational connection of the existing and the new building by a central building and also preventing an eclipse of the area by integrating the building in the area’s hillside. The advantage of the project is the presence of relaxation facilities and sports areas. The project completes the sporting environment of the area which makes it an attractive locality for a family recreation.

The assignment of the diploma thesis is an architectural study of a cycling stadium - velodrome in the Pisárky district in Brno for TJ Favorit Brno. The existing velodrome is located southwest on the edge of the Brno Exhibition Center on Křížovského Street. The Velodrome no longer meets the current requirements of track cycling, but it is historically valuable and has its genius loci. The new 250 m long wooden bike track (together with other parameters of the International Cycling Union) and its associated sports grounds are "inserted" into the existing velodrome, which is modified and reconstructed according to requirements. The grandstands have been preserved. The built-in building with a new track is then completely roofed, creating an enclosed space. As part of the stadium reconstruction, a new facility was also created for TJ Favorit Brno from a modular container system; These are changing rooms for athletes, administrative areas, and facilities for visiting clubs and athletes and IP areas. The container construction system for sports facilities is very practical, economical, fast, environmentally friendly, variable, and flexible to the current requirements of a constantly evolving sport. The Anteroom and ground floor in the southern part of the existing velodrome is equipped with services for the public: a cafe, souvenir shop, cash register, information center, service, and a bicycle and sports equipment store. The new track with grandstands is covered with ETFE foil anchored to new lattice trusses, which are connected to the existing roof.

The main subject of the diploma project was to create architecture study for new building of a Gallery for sport aircrafts and their traditions and other equipment that cooperate with this topic. The Gallery is designed in Brno´s Medlanky municipality and it is incorporated on current local sport airport. This project was preceded by studio project on the same area, which included reconstruction and development of this airport area. In this diploma project I was trying to continue with this development and establish a design which would react to my earlier design. The site has a sloped character and it separated from a dense city area. Starting point for the design was to gently touch the landscape and also trying to find certain references directly in the closest surrounding. From the views to surrounding was created the idea to preserve the horizontal lines and with a landscape and constructions demands was created the main idea to continue with the landscape over the spatial structure. The need to cover large-scale exhibit items like aircrafts and other items from this topic led to a starting point of my design. The structure is formed as a spatial truss structure and dominates the exhibition space. Building is connected by program and structure to services and other areas like conference hall, coffee, study room, work room and administration. As a one building it teems mainly from arrival at the airport area when the roofing is an organic, monolithic surface disappearing in surrounding. But gallery itself emerges from the ground and opens towards the aircraft take off and departure area where it is also direction of a main view to the surrounding. The building is also unique for its entering, such as the main entrance through narrow staircase gap in the roof. This entrance should evoke to people an aircraft landing, where while descent plane dive in to the clouds and appear underneath above a whole new landscape. Thus a person sore in to the roof surface a
